It's an exciting time for the Journal of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery (JDDS). After a several years period of sustained growth in the number of articles considered and published, the journal has a new publisher and a fresh new look. In addition, the journal is now indexed in Web of Science's Emerging Source Citation Index, among the important indices on the Internet.
The JDDS has continuity in its editorial team and array of expert reviewers. The journal continues to provide timely, rapid review for all submissions. Importantly, the journal continues to provide free, open access to all its published articles at no cost to the authors, making researchers' findings freely available to everyone across the globe.
It's an honor for me to continue serving as Editor of the JDDS. The JDDS focuses on providing both reviews of important topics in dermatology and the findings of cutting edge research. I hope you will find our journal a good choice for consideration of your work and a good source of information about the continually developing field of dermatology.
